"Pictures are grainy in low light" 2010-02-08
By Beth (Orlando, FL)
I wanted a slim point and shoot camera that I could take anywhere. Well , this camera has all those attributes, but the picture quality is horrendous. I have a six year old Sony that is only 5 mega pixels that takes much better photographs. Photos taken with this camera in low/indoor light come out grainy. I am not one to return products, but this camera is useless to me, and I am returning it.

We selected this for our eight year old niece after a reading reviews at Amazon and a travel magazine. The travel magazine rated it as one of the best digital cameras to purchase for eight year olds. In a couple Amazon reviews, there were some knocks against it when purchasing for children. So far we have no experienced those issues. Our niece enjoys the camera and being the photogragher. She has had no problems working it.

This is an excellent camera for the price (approx 110.00). Lots of features and good picture quality.

"will not last very long" 2010-01-22
By Joyce L. Brophy (Cedar Rapids, Ia)
My husband bought me this camera for Mother's Day and it lasted until Martin Luther King Day. The pictures have never been very good, the features do not work as described, some pictures turn out very dark, and now the lens is stuck open. There is no usable troubleshooting on the Kodak site. All recommendations say throw it away. I have had Olympus and Cannon digital cameras for years without any issues. This camera has locked up, like it is now, several times; however in the past connecting up to the PC immediately reset to camera. Not this time.

 "disappointed" 2010-01-12
By A. Riley (JEROME, ID, US)
I bought this camera for convenience, to take places I didn't want to take my bigger camera. I was really happy with the picture quality and the 3" LCD, the cool color was just a bonus. I didn't look that carefully at the reviews for this camera (my own fault) to find out some of the common problems that people had shared. It not lasting very long, making strange noises and even though I thought it took really good pictures, a lot of people disagree. My problem started with the cameras second day of use. The camera started making grinding and clicking sounds when trying to focus, it was then that I read the reviews and decided before it quit altogether, I would return it. I haven't replaced yet, but will look more closely at the reviews next time.

so far we really like the camera. Great value on the day I purchased it.

Camera is very good but hard to use by older people. Basically most newer technology products are harder to use by older people because they are so small. Size does matter.

 "Excellent little camera" 2010-02-01
By Melvin Bosarreyes (Las Vegas, Nevada)
It's a perfect camera for beginners, the quality is not that perfect but close enough, I would recommend this camera to a person who is taking family pictures and is not tech knowledgeable.

 "Love my camera" 2010-01-31
By C. D. Landry (Louisiana)
I received this identical camera as a Christmas gift from my husband, who bought it at Wal-Mart. I used it a few days and at a friend's house, the camera accidentally fell from a table onto a thickly carpeted floor - the camera completely quit working - there was nothing at all broken on the camera - but something obviously was wrong with it. I took the camera back to Wal-Mart, where they took it back with no questions asked. I repurchased this identical camera here on Amazon. My only remark is that if you have this camera or are looking to purchase this camera, you MUST be very, very careful with it and try to avoid accidents like this - as it seems to be ultra-sensitive!! Had this camera fallen on a concrete floor or a hard floor, I could see the problem, but when it fell onto the thickly carpeted floor and didn't make a sound, and then didn't work anymore, it shows me that this camera is very, very delicate. So far, my new camera has worked exceptionally well and I've been extremely careful with it.

This camera is giving me nightmares!!

I had used several batteries ( as per the specification ) and still its not working, it blinks and then it goes off!!

I bought this during the month of december 2009 and unfortunately I used it twice or thrice during december and it just blinks whenever I try to switch it on.

Is there a way I can return this and get the refund..

Pls help!!

 "Love it !!!" 2010-02-05
By SteveNguyen (Fort Worth, TX)
Before buying point and shoot camera , i did lot of researches and finally end up buying this one. What i was looking for was something at reasonable price and not too fancy. I have seen many negative comments about this Kodak M-341 until i own it. The picture quality is awesome and more than i expected it to be.With the price 110, you cant go wrong with this one ..Many people complain this camera making "clicking sound"; however, you can make it stop making that sound by turn "continuous" mode to "single mode"..that function is Auto focus , therefore, the lens automatically adjusts to get the best quality pics (Smart Capture)

By K. Kier (Charleston, SC.)
The camera works great. With the 12 mega-pixels the pictures are sharp and clear. Adding a memory card greatly increases storage capabilities. Charging the camera directly from the USB port enables the user to utilize any generic USB charger, this is great for on-the-go vehicle charging. I recommend purchasing a case for the camera, one is not included.

 "Horrible" 2009-12-12
By jack (new york)
There is only one word to describe this camera. Horrible. It has 15 types of settings for pictures, and a smart mode that chooses automatically. It never gets it right. The lighting is always terribly off; either too light or too dark. Would definitely not recommend to anyone.

 "Incredible!" 2009-12-06
By Cynthia C. Tochkin (British Columbia, Canada)
It has awesome quality pictures and it's sleek and stylish! Plus on Amazon.com the price is very good compared to the actual Kodak website! Ships super fast to. It is very easy to use and with 12.2 MP to just go wild with, you can take some really killer pictures with it! The only thing I find wierd is that it doesn't come with a memory card... You have to buy one separately like I did (I just found it out when I got the camera about a week ago) :( The camera has an internal memory card built in, but it doesn't really hold a lot... (Only 10 pictures and 29 seconds of video.) Pretty much just a sample of what it can do. If you want to buy this camera, (and I recommend you do because it's Kodak) then do remember to buy a memory card while you buy the camera because then you don't have to make the mistake that I did and wait for another week or 2 to get it, Just warning you :)

PS. This is what memory card i'm buying for my camera:

[...]

They also come in 4, 16 and 32GB to I think...

Anyway, hope this helps!
