I bought this camera after reading several reviews about it. I can say that I am really satisfied with it. I had another Kodak that was five years old and it is still working. I just wanted to buy another one that had a higher zoom and more mepapixels. This camera has different picture modes that I don't know how to use like the pasm, but when you are switching between each one a message shows up in the screen giving a simple explanation of what that option is used for. I love the big screen, the video and picture quality is excellent. I like that while I'm taking a video I can zoom in and zoom out. Although while zooming the scene becomes a little blurred. The optical zoom is 10X and you can see things very far away and the resolution is still great. The battery lasts a long time. I think that in two months I have charged it twice. I would recommend this product to anybody looking to buy a camera. One feature that I really like is that if you erase a video or photo by mistake you can recover it. This only works for the last erased picture or photo, but believe me, it is great to have this feature. The size of the camera is not as small as I would like it to be, but usually the smaller cameras in the market have less resolution and the zoom is not as good.

I really don't have a great deal of experience yet with this camera, but so far so good. I really like the looks and feel of it. Picture quality seems to be good , but I have used the 10X zoom very little, so not much input on that. Likewise on taking videos. I like the 3" LCD screen and the ease of operation. It has the main features I was looking for: 3" screen, 10X zoom, Li-Ion battery, and still pretty much pocket size. Will probably review again after more use with it.

I have had many different models over the years, but always stuck with the "easy to use" Kodak brand.
The V1233 I had fell off the table & the telescoping lens bent, horribly. I needed a good camera in a pinch. I waited 5 days before buying this one after much research. I am very happy with this camera!
It's a little bigger than the V1233, but not as big as some of the older models I've owned. It's zoom is second to none. Perfect quality in even the worst lighting conditions. Some how it captures my crazy kids looking still even when they are in motion, no blur.
I love it & depending on your needs would likely reccommend it.

I bought this for the supposedly HD 720P video resolution that it was suppose to have. I had just bought a 47" LCD TV and was anxious to try it out on it. It was a big let down for the price that I paid for it. The video was grainy. It was not even good to call it standard 480P resolution. This was really a big let down as this was the main reason that I purchased this model. The YouTube video advertisements look good and had a influence in my decision to go this model from Kodak. Now I will probably never buy a product from Kodak again because of this.
